Run Memory Diagnostics utility on a bootable PC
When your computer can boot and you want to identify and diagnose memory issues, this is the best procedure.
Step 1: In the Start/taskbar search field, type mdsched. Press the Enter key after running exe or Windows Memory Diagnostics.
Step 2: When the Memory Diagnostic dialog box appears on your screen, save your work, end all open applications, and then select the Restart now and look for issues option.
Alternatively, if you don’t want to restart right away, select the option to check for issues when I turn on my computer again.
Step 3: When your computer restarts, the Memory Diagnostics Tool will launch automatically to check for memory issues.
